D+H's Continuing Success: The Sale of International Art in Australia

Throughout 2015 and 2016 Deutscher and Hackett continued to offer a wide range of locally consigned international art.

In December 2015 the sale of Josef Albers’ electric Study for: Homage to the Square, 1961 for $341,600 (EST: $150,000 – 200,000) demonstrated our ability to actively market worldwide and achieve strong international prices in Australia.

In the May 2016 auction Robert Motherwell’s Untitled, 1987 sold for $114,680 (EST: $50,000 – 70,000). This is the first time a significant work by this prominent New York based Abstract Expressionist has sold at auction in Australia.
