This painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Warlayirti Artists, Balgo Hills, which states: 'Boxer has painted some of his country, found along the middle stretches of Purkitji (Sturt Creek) north of Balgo. Boxer knows all the facets of this country and the seasonal changes that occur to the river each year. Purkitji is depicted as the central horizontal line, the many inter-connecting smaller tributaries are also shown as well as rockpools.'
