This painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Papunya Tula Artists, Alice Springs, which reads in part: 'This painting depicts body paint designs associated with Tingari ceremonies at the large rockhole site of Kirritijina, north of Jupiter Well. In mythological times a large group of Tingari Men camped at this site before travelling east to Lake Mackay.'
