Catalogue text

This painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Warlayirti Artists which states: 'Eubena has painted from her country south west of Balgo along the middle stretches of the Canning Stock Route. This country is centered around Kunawarritji (Well 33). The lowest two circles represent Mindiki warniri (rockhole), above Mindiki is Tjoolala warniri and Yeewarra tjurrnu (soakwater). The remaining circles represent men who had gathered here during the Tjukurrpa (Dreaming) for ceremony. The other features of the painting depict the tali (sandhills) that dominate this country.’
