Catalogue text

This work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Warlayirti Artists which states: 'Theresa has depicted some of her mother's country, which is located south of Balgo in the Great Sandy Desert. The circle in the centre of the painting represents Minyurrpa, a soak water rock hole, a sacred place that Theresa and her sisters are now the traditional caretakers of this location. The blue lines in the painting represent tali or sand dunes and the dotting throughout most of the painting represents the various types of seeds found in this area.'
