This work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Mangkaja Arts, Fitzroy Crossing that states: ‘This is my mother and my father’s country called Jupurr. There is a cave here with the jila (living water) inside. There is good yellow ochre here. We used to camp here in the hot weather time. There is always water here in this place’
