Catalogue text
This painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Papunya Tula Artists, Alice Springs, which reads in part: 'This painting depicts designs associated with the Seven Sisters Dreaming. The roundels represent camp sites and the “U” shapes are women who are being pursued by a man of the Tjakamarra kinship subsection. The women travelled over quite a distance but managed to keep ahead of him.'
