ONGOING SUPPORT OF FUNDRAISING EVENTS

Throughout 2015 and 2016 Deutscher and Hackett has readily offered support to a number of important fundraising events.

In August 2015, we auctioned a group of works donated by artists supporting the National Art School, Sydney.

The former students who donated works included John Olsen, Michael Johnson, Tim Storrier and Brett Whiteley (donated by Wendy Whiteley), which raised around $85,000 on the night for the National Art School.

In November 2015, Chris Deutscher stood in as auctioneer for the Love Heide Annual Fundraising Dinner at the Sofitel, Melbourne raising over $120,000 in support of Heide’s forward exhibition program.

Roger McIlroy assisted the Australian Museum in Sydney in May this year, raising $250,000 in one evening at their gala dinner and fundraising auction.

Damian Hackett took the biennial ‘Art of Music Live’ auction at the Sydney Opera House in July 2015, a sensational night surrounded by rock royalty, in aid of the amazing Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Australia. That auction is designed to be a teaser for the main event, held every two years at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, which has been supported by Deutscher and Hackett since 2012.
